Survey measures attitudes towards EU DP proposals
Law firm Allen & Overy's London office has launched a survey to gather stakeholders’ views on the EU proposals for a Data Protection Regulation. The survey includes 22 multiple choice questions ranging from explicit consent, right to be forgotten and Binding Corporate Rules to the potential impact on business. Respondents are asked whether they think the proposed fines, up to 2% of an enterprise’s annual turnover, would make their organisations change their approach to data protection compliance. Other aspects include evaluation of the costs and savings resulting from the proposed changes to the EU DP regime.
The survey will run until 7 March, and the results will be published on an anonymous, aggregated basis.
