He said that he will urge the EU Council of Ministers to speed up the process of finding common ground on the draft EU Data Protection Regulation.
The interview is published today in Privacy Laws & Business International Report’s 28th Anniversary edition.
This edition also includes a table of 109 national privacy laws, a table of 21 privacy Bills and a table of Bills updating existing privacy laws, with a commentary by PL&B Asia-Pacific Editor, Professor Graham Greenleaf.
Mr Buttarelli will speak at PL&B’s 28th Annual International Conference, Privacy in a Connected World, at St. John’s College, Cambridge, UK, 6-8 July 2015.
