DUAA data protection provisions will commence 5 February
The main changes to the data protection legislation in Part 5 of the Data (Use and Access) Act (DUAA) will be commenced on Thursday, 5 February, apart from Section 103.
Section 103 on complaints by data subjects, requiring controllers to establish processes for handling complaints, is expected to be commenced approximately 12 months after Royal Assent of DUAA, which is June this year.
