Brazil’s Internet law enters into force 23 June

To mark the start of the World Cup, we would like to offer you some news on Brazil. Brazil’s ground-breaking Internet law establishes the principles, guarantees, rights and obligations for the use of the Internet in Brazil. From now on, organisations need express consent for the collection, use, storage and processing of personal data. The law also requires foreign companies offering services to the Brazilian public to comply with the law’s data protection requirements, and enshrines the principle of net neutrality.
