Lonely Navajo Indians was published by the Royal Geographical Society’s Geographical Magazine in December 1977.
It tells the story of the use of the US Freedom of Information Act by the Navajo Tribe of Arizona to find out about the negotiations between their tribal chiefs and the US Bureau of Indian Affairs in Washington DC on the exploitation of mineral rights on their tribal lands.
