Spain has one of the most stringent enforcement systems in the EU. The meeting examined Spain's approach to enforcement, direct marketing and cross-border data transfers.

The agenda also included an introduction to Spain's data protection law by Senor Javier Fernandez-Samaniego, Attorney, Linklaters, Madrid. He provided an outline of:
