Christopher Graham, the new UK Information Commissioner, has agreed to discuss international transfers to countries outside the European Economic Area and also how he plans to deploy his stronger audit and enforcement powers.

6. The Information Commissioner's attitude towards the EU's Privacy & Electronic Communications Directive and, in particular

6.1. how he plans to interpret and enforce the requirement to opt-in to receiving a cookie when visiting a website

6.2. his views on the European Parliament's and the Art 29 DP Working Party's support for widening the requirement to report data breaches to Data Protection Authorities from the telecoms and online services sectors to all sectors.
