Overview
On 18 September, the government passed the Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) Regulations 2003.
The new regulations, which come into force on December 11th, will have major implications for the way businesses market to customers and prospects across a range of new-media channels such as e-mail and SMS, multimedia messaging, and location-based mobile services.
