Poland: significant GDPR fines and data breaches
Poland’s Data Protection Authority, UODO, has issued, since 25 May 2018, GDPR fines totalling over €1.7 million. According to a DLA Piper survey, the top jurisdictions for GDPR fines issued in total are Italy (€69.3 million), Germany (€69 million) and France (€54 million).
