Global table of countries with DP laws and bills

The world’s most authoritative tables grouped by region, of 145 national data protection laws from Algeria to Uzbekistan and 23 bills from Belarus to Zimbabwe. Referenced by international organisations including the United Nations, European Commission, Council of Europe, and the OECD.


These Tables are by Graham Greenleaf, Professor of Law & Information Systems, University of New South Wales (UNSW Sydney). They are the 7th edition of the Tables published by Privacy Laws & Business International Report since 2011. They are based on information known as at 31 January 2021.
