Trainee lawyer looking for Tech, Data Protection and Privacy roles - Ref: PLB0315

Trainee solicitor due to qualify in September with a background in tech and data, competition, and regulatory law. With a focus on communications, cyber, privacy, digital, AI, and regulation. Currently part of the Tech and Data Team at a top-tier firm.

Expertise includes advising on compliance with digital regulation and online safety laws, assisting with consent and data regulation for a variety of organisations (including health apps), and advising on a wide range of data protection matters. Has managed foreign counsel projects on privacy compliance and marketing, provided strategic advice on freedom of information requests, reviewed and drafted technology-focused contracts, and supported telecoms corporate establishments.

On the general regulatory side, has worked on various CMA investigations, judicial reviews, as well as advising on the merger control and general regulatory matters.
