EPON Language and Rules

All meetings and documents will be in English, unless all participants at a meeting decide otherwise. Rules are kept to a minimum but cover, for example:

  1. confidentiality and,
  2. criteria for Network membership.

Privacy Laws & Business Secretariat Role

  1. Organising members' e-mail network and distribution of documents
  2. Organising venues/agendas (in agreement with members)/ invitations to members
  3. Co-ordination of and registration for meetings
  4. Inviting speakers, with the assistance of members.
  5. Reporting on meetings.
  6. Provision of expertise for meetings, for example, scenarios or case examples
  7. Drafting of position documents for circulating for members' comments and editing for a final version
  8. Making appointments for meetings with regulators and policy makers
  9. "First Aid" enquiry/referral service on international data protection/privacy law issues
