Top tech company seeks EMEA Privacy Counsel in Ireland

A leading tech company is seeking an EMEA Privacy Counsel to join its data protection team in Dublin. The winning applicant will provide strategic advice to management and advice on products being developed. The company is looking for good judgement, creative solutions, and the interpersonal skills to flourish as a member of the team.

The work areas will cover not only data protection but also consumer protection and content liability in multiple jurisdictions across the region. This role has a public policy and communications dimension.
Minimum qualifications include an excellent legal qualification in at least one European jurisdiction. The role demands at least three to five years Post Qualification Experience either in a law firm or in-house. Candidates will have gained experience working on mobiles, apps, social networks or other Internet-based technologies. Ideally, the person would have experience working in an internet or tech company and be fluent in more than one EU language.

The salary range for this would probably be in the range €70-90,000 with a 10% bonus plus stock and a benefits package, or even more for an exceptional candidate.
