This roundtable with the Czech, Polish and Hungarian Privacy Commissioners and their Senior Staff provided a detailed briefing on the three countries’ laws including:

  • the three laws’ implementation timetable;
  • transfers of personal data outside the European Economic Area;
  • online and offline marketing; monitoring of individuals in the workplace;
  • enforcement, inspections and audits;
  • and changes ahead.

On the afternoon prior to the roundtable, lawyers from Covington & Burling and Linklaters explained the three laws and areas where they differ from the EU model.
