Data Protection Officer Training Academy
DLA Piper together with Privacy Laws & Business are pleased to invite you to attend the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) Data Protection Officer Training Academy.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
The course is aimed at IT, compliance and legal professionals or anyone who is taking on the role of Data Protection Officer.
Our DPO Training Academy is a three day course to prepare you and your organisation for the GDPR.
London: 16 – 18 November 2016
18 accredited CPD hours
WHAT WILL I LEARN?
The DPO Training Academy will provide practical, interactive guidance on how to establish and manage compliance as a DPO, consistent with the many requirements of the GDPR.
Content has been developed by DLA Piper, in collaboration with Privacy Laws & Business, the leading international data protection/privacy laws information service.
Upon completion, participants will be equipped with knowledge of the relevant legal, technical and operational skills needed to successfully fulfill the DPO role. Participants will also receive a comprehensive toolkit of supporting guidance notes and template documents to use in this role. A certificate of attendance will be issued on completion of the course.
HOW WILL THE TRAINING BE DELIVERED?
The DPO Training Academy will combine workshop-style interactive training, case studies and traditional teaching methods to deliver a fully rounded learning experience.
Sessions will be led by senior members of DLA Piper’s Global Data Protection, Privacy and Information Security team, as well as recognised industry experts. Course leaders bring hands-on experience of advising on and managing complex data protection legal and operational projects across Europe.
